Hand Cut Paper

I have always enjoyed strong design work and when I need a break from painting I love working in paper. Lately I have been challenging myself with intricate cut paper designs. Below are some examples of my latest explorations. These are drawn out on the backside of the paper then carefully cut using an exacto knife. Many hours go into the making of these and I’m still experimenting with different weights of paper and different methods of mounting them when they’re done.
